My Grandmother’s Handwritten Prayer
A Treasured Gift
One quiet evening, as I sat in my bed reflecting on life, my thoughts wandered lovingly to my grandmother, Carolyn. Missing her gentle wisdom, I reached for her well-worn Bible, hoping to feel a little closer to her spirit. As I opened its pages, something extraordinary happened-a small, folded piece of paper slipped out, hidden among the scriptures. To my amazement, it was a handwritten prayer, penned by my grandmother herself in December of 1996.
Finding that prayer felt like discovering a hidden treasure. My heart leapt with excitement and curiosity, as if grandma was right there beside me, sharing her love and guidance once again. That simple piece of paper became a daily source of comfort, peace, and inspiration for me. Each morning, before I begin my day, I read her words and let them fill my heart with wisdom, calm, and love.
Today, it is my joy and honor to share this precious gift with you. May my grandmother’s prayer bring you the same peace, clarity, and warmth it brings me, reminding us all of the power of love passed down through generations.
